DIY Designer Living-Studies in Conscious Creation

Studies In Conscious Creation

Before anything can take a physical form, it needs to have existed as a concept in the imagination of someone. Our universe is created through thought waves converting energy from one form to another. Energy is the life force, and it has intelligence. I call it God, Source , Source Energy, Daddy God, the Universe. I like the term “lord”...because it feels Personal for me, and it really mean “I Am”.

My favourite is probably Source though, coz it makes it easy for people to understand their relationship with energy and Source-ONE. ALL ONE. Whilst I never felt alienated from God, I didn’t always feel the power of the connection. I always believed in it, but didn’t know how to clear the cobwebs that seemed to develop through my troubled teen years.

I use to sit at my window at night, look up at the stars, and say “I know you are talking to me, but I don’t know how to hear you.” (Sure got over that!)

It’s been my desire for as long as I can remember, to live my life the way that I believe I was designed to. Of course, over the years, I’ve gotten better and better at articulating that, but the desire has ALWAYS been a conscious preoccupation.

Years ago, I discovered some proverbs that read

“Through wisdom the Lord laid the earth’s foundations,

By understanding, he set the heavens in place.

By his knowledge the mountains were created

And the clouds let drop their dew.” Pr 3:19-20

Then, I found this too...

“Through wisdom a house is built

Through understanding it is established.

By knowledge its rooms are filled with rare and beautiful treasures.” Pr 24:3-4

Truly ,from that day I knew like I’d never know before that I could INDEED create my life the very same way God had created ALL that is, because I knew I had free access to all the wisdom, understanding and knowledge that I could ever want. This was well over 20 years ago.

I lay this foundation to show that my understanding and experience of everything that I share has been born from this connection I have with Source. I have been almost desperate to know myself as ONE with Source. I know what it is to be caught up in glory and know mysteries. Sometimes, I am so hungry for more, and so thirsty for filling, that I feel I will collapse from within.

But, my lover always comes. He comes when I am so faint with love and weak with desire. And he possesses me. We fuse as one and for a moment I am satiated. From that extreme conscious oneness, life comes forth with dizzying colour and sensory awakening. I am deeper, broader, longer, higher. It is this KNOWING that fuels all that I am, all that I do, and taught me how to create my life on purpose.

It is also because of the reality of this Connection that I am able to ‘release’ my vice like grip on the things I so wish to experience in my life. As with all things, it’s been a process, and the climate for mastery was nowhere near the supportive community it is now.

Today, people have a much ‘lighter’ and ‘brighter’ energy to ride. It’s easier to believe than it used to be, not only for the role models who went through decades of preparation for this time, but because the energy atmosphere is far more conducive through the Collective Consciousness toward illumination.

However, it is a time of contrasts. The dividing line between those who live in fear and those who choose to learn to trust love, will broaden, and with it, the contrasting lifestyles of lack and abundance, sickness and well being.

Now really is the time to learn how to fly with this.

Time to come out of the cocoon and into the light, stretch those wings and bring all your colour into the world.

So...do you know what you want?

Do you know what lights your fire?

I really would like to help, but I need feed back to offer the best advice to develop awareness...not only of what You want, but also of how you’ve already created your current life experience.

How would you like me to help you?

DIY Designer Beauty

DIY Designer Beauty

All my life I suffered from ongoing “body image” issue.

It’s not an uncommon issue, particularly for women. It has led many a beautiful soul down a tortured path of insecurity and self abasement, and for some, it has even proven fatal. A curse perhaps

Like many such “curses”, however, I have come to recognise it as a blessing in disguise. Not only this adversity, but any and all the adversity I have faced. From my darkest fears, to my plaguing more “liveable” irritations, I have found a way to absorb them all and turn them into something wonderful.

I found what has become for me cure for all ills, the answer to every question and the panacea for all maladies. I found the fountain of liberty indeed. And I found it in living in the heart of the Universe, where there is only beauty, truth and limitless life.

Choosing to make abiding in that Love the top priority of my life, I continue to deepen my experience of beauty, multiply my encounters with beautiful people, and I see an ever increasing beauty present in myself. In who I am. This ripples out and I am free to see the magnificent wonder and beauty in all that is around me.

And give it worthy appreciation.

Metamorphosis is the Path to Beauty-Accepting Growth

Two analogies come to mind: the life cycle of a butterfly, and the process of creating a diamond. In both scenarios, a wonderful alchemy is at work, and these days, I relate to the alchemical process the most-but all three have their common points.

Firstly, there is a base substance. Carbon for the diamond, the caterpillar (grub) for the butterfly, and a base metal, such as tin or nickel, for alchemy.

In relating this back to humanity, it is our ‘ego centred’ nature that is the base component. It is that part of us that we are born into when we take on flesh. It is ruled by our physical senses and lives in the conscious part of the psyche. It is the “perishable” part, and there comes a day for all that breathes, when it is shed once more.

The larvae of a butterfly lives to eat. It may be itself eaten, but its whole agenda is to reach a certain physical size and age, and then all it has consumed will sustain it through the next phase. It does have elements for protection-camouflage, odours or maybe poison. Nothing about this life is incidental or accidental. A caterpillar will outgrow and shed its skin four or five times, the final time being when it cocoons itself a chrysalis.

Meanwhile, for the diamond, carbon atoms must have leached through the earth’s mantle formed by melting rocks and begin a descent propelled by the elements of temperature, cooling sufficiently to once again harden. Already the carbon has been subjected to heat and cold and passages through pressure. If the amount of resistance, and the balance of chemistry right, diamond crystals are formed DEEP in the womb of the earth (120-200kms down).

If the conditions are not so “perfect”, the crystals can melt partially or completely dissolve. Just like the grub, they may not complete the process.

Of course, there are many more very interesting details in these analogies that are worthy of study, as they parallel the human soul’s journey so well, but my blogs are only ever an appetizer! Lol

And so, in this section, I just want to present the notion that life on earth is about a progressive transformation. Not a static condition. Nothing on this glorious planet enters from the energy state and emerges back into it in the same form. Everything grows, is changed, matures and is transformed again. Everything is recycled in its physical life.

And whilst all things change and are transformed, the energy that is that central matter goes on.

You are not your body, but having emerged into this physical plane, you have an adventure to embrace. That adventure is the one of metamorphosis, and through this extended process, you can grow wings and become free to fly. You can develop a resilience that never crumbles, and you can purify your heart like the finest gold.

This is your glorified state. The REAL you. The part that never dies. You can choose to take an entire lifetime and never respond to the conditions in such a way as to grow into this beauty, or you can say ‘yes’ to all that comes and somehow grow ever more brightly, living here to enjoy so much more.

The Dark Night of the Soul

We all can know ‘good’ and ‘bad’ days, but when you accept growth as the motivation for life, they all contribute in positive ways. You can learn ‘how’ to see things so that you can grow, with less resistance, which means a LOT less discomfort. A measure of awkwardness perhaps, but pleasure can fill these times too.

However, it does seem to be undeniably common that most endure some period of deep suspension into a personal abyss of sorts. It may not feel nice...but simply think of the caterpillar, whos ‘prison’ was of its own intent and construction. Hard as it may seem to grasp, so is ours! When you take a larger view, it’s possible to see this, and understanding it, we can accept our ‘classroom’ more readily as an opportunity to master the necessary skills to be and remain free.

In transcending the circumstances, through releasing resistance, we will IMMEDIATELY shorten the time we stay here, because we allow ourselves to be receptive and open. Everything moves along more swiftly like this.

Looking for the resources within you, fuelled by an intensifying desire for freedom and flight, will cause all you need to begin to surface...just like a diamond finds its way up to the light. Fearing the continuation of the state...will intensify that...and lengthen it. Even if you are finally relieved, the fear that abides lurks as a constant reminder and ever present invitation to more of the same. Address the fear, face it, don’t run from it. Look at how living in that place of connection alleviates it.

We overcome such things in layers. So what may have brought anguish to me at 20 may not bother me at all today. Incremental growth out, the way a caterpillar sheds its skin, is perfectly fine. You, from your other than subconscious mind orchestrate it all, because who really are wants to find the freedom for expressing its unique beauty.

Trading the Outer for the Inner

I can’t actually remember of ever being without the consideration of my deeper self. I had the ongoing struggle of seeing myself through the eyes of Love, but feeling that no one else had those eyes! Later in life and into my forties, I explored a more sensory approach, but was in a constant state of feeling so “out-of-sync” with myself, that I just couldn’t continue. It certainly didn’t appease anything, but I did find that some things were good to include in my life, within reason. As long as I stayed in a place of harmony with my authentic nature...anything was, and is, okay, but I have NEVER wanted to be dependent on anything, or anyone, outside myself, for my own well being, because I learnt early on that nothing and no one would always be there, nor would, or COULD they be responsible.

Thus, due to my particular path, I needed the Inner Life in order to cope with my outer circumstances. I know many though, that yet LIVE in their outer life, still looking for everything and everyone to be something different, so that they can be happy.

In choosing a life of true beauty and connection, one also chooses a life free of judgment, full of grace and overflowing with an untouchable joy. Should a difficult moment come, such a one knows that it’s there for their benefit, not their demise. This soul rises, greeting the circumstance with an open heart and embracing the challenge like a lover that brings deliverance into deeper LIFE.

The most beautiful and beautifying attribute I know is Wisdom. The ancient wisdom of All-That-Is. Wisdom always knows what is best, and understands the “why”. Insight brings empowering. Wisdom like this brings peace, assurance, confidence. Its ability to see so deeply spawns a joy and appreciation that springs from the womb that gave birth to time, and can never die.

Wisdom is found through Love and wielded by it. It is my greatest desire, for in being one with Wisdom I am one with the Oneness that is all.

“Wisdom’s ways are pleasant ways,

And all her paths are peace.”

DIY Designer Change

DIY Designer Positioning

This week, I’m presenting something a little different.
Generally, my slant on everything about life takes an holistic bias. I like working on everything from the inside out. I do get practical in my application too, but not necessarily in the typical linear way. I’m not primarily a left brain thinker. I desire very much for balance in my overall thinking processes, and for some of them, I get the assistance of friends and advisors I know have an excellent grip on those things that I’m not so adept in, so I can glean from their viewpoint.

So, this week, I’m taking more of a business tack on some of my DIY designer ideas and looking at ways we can shape our ‘package’ to position ourselves authentically and desirably in the market place. And to help me do that, I have a great friend and business colleague, Jason Spurlock joining me for my Blog Talk Radio Show May 11. http://blogtalkradio.com/lisa-shah

What we’re going to be looking at is how we can take some of the ‘designer’ ideas and bring them into a place of action. Everyone’s action can be different and motivation unique, but ultimately there are aspects of the process that remain consistent throughout, and via which most, if not all, goals are achieved.

AS Jason mentioned to me, Tony (Anthony) Robbins, the well known personal development guru, talks about a three prong process. These spearheads are :
1. Focus
2. Physiology
3. Language

Focus

Under this heading, I want to look at my usual starting place...”designer alignment”. This seems be irrevocably and always the starting place for any venture.
Set your sights on what and where you want to be.

Consider where you find yourself today and what the mirrors in your life are presenting to you. How are they revealing what needs to be adjusted for you to reach the desired outcome? How is this showing up in circumstances and what struggles or conflicts is it presenting?

Now, focus yourself again on the person you feel you will become in the process of achieving your goal. How do you look as the person who is successful in this venture? What is your dominant attitude and vibe? How do you handle crisis? Why do people turn to you? What are you giving to them?

How do you look? Where do you present yourself...what circles? Corporate, Retail, Community, etc. How do you speak? What manner of things do you say to yourself of yourself? How do you think of other people? How is your day laid out?

Set these things in your mind as your magnetic NORTH, like the compass you will work to, and attract to you. Regularly, refer to your compass, and do what you can to strengthen its drawing power, by feeding your focus well. Learn to think and focus like someone who is where you wish to be.

Physiology

One of the ways you can apply this, is studying the ways these people are walking their focus out. Even if they differ in what they do, the elements of their success will be relevant. What is their posture and stance, their demeanour and dominant presence? How is this reflected in the way they literally walk, talk, dress and relate.

Our physical bodies are a direct reflection of our self opinion. What do you feel yours says about you? What about those of whom you think well...how is the physiology adding to that? With those that don’t summon that respect from you...how does THEIR posture give away their opinion of themselves.

In the same way that donning a mask and wearing a costume make it easier for us to assume a different role or character, so, physicalizing the elements that a successful person walks in will actually begin to send those signals through your physical muscle memory. Every cell of your being is intelligent. You are disrupting old habits of being, and SUPPORTED by the mental shift in focus will begin to create new sets of habits to go with that mind set change, helping to establish the two as a powerful set of triggers.

Assuming a physical state has attached emotional conditions and can reveal conflicting belief issues, too. EG If a person of self worth stands erect and healthfully proud, he could feel arrogant. This could become a hindrance to the process, and with techniques like good old EFT, this resistance can be worked through.

Language

Finally, the third of the three prongs is language. As with the physiology, language reveals an enormous amount about where a person really stands in relation to a healthy self image, and it shows not only in their self talk, but also in their talk and attitudes toward others.
It’s an inescapable fact, that as we are toward others, is actually how we are to ourselves, if not overtly, then most definitely covertly. In other words, if we are judgmental and critical of others, we will always feel the associated affects of being judged (unacceptability) and being found deficient (unworthiness). Likewise, as the adage, “love thy neighbour as thyself” implies, the two are relative.

So...what does your language reveal about your thinking? Consider when you hear yourself use words like ‘should’, ‘never’ and ‘always’. How much of your conversation with others, or playing in your head is about circumstances? How is what you hear coming out of your mouth different to that which you hear come from those who are where you want to be?
Build awareness, of yourself and the company you keep. What is their language like and what does it reveal? “Out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks”. Just like your physiology, your language will work for or against you. As you reset your focus and your stature, re-educate your tongue as well. Implementing change by choice, SUPPORTED by the other areas, will work wonders.

Develop an integrity with your words. Spend your words on what counts. Your focus will shift if your tongue strays. Your language will help to align you, and as you speak those things you mean and want and believe in passionately, will draw your emotions up to a higher level too.
It will get easier for all these things to work together.

The Balance of Power

So...bring some balance. The bizarre thing is that consciously we determine to control through our will, but it is our subconscious that rules the outcome. When we work with the two in harmony, identifying and removing the resistance, there can be an harmonious free flow between the two and productivity is vastly improved.

Be sure to listen into the show next week, when Jason and I look at how using these principles can help to design a distinct and strong position, both within ourselves as creative individuals, and in the market place as effective contributors to lives of others.

DIY Designer Change

DIY Designer Change.
Change.
Hmmm...for some it’s not only a negative word, it’s a terrifying prospect. Why is that?
Everything about life is in a constant of flux, so how is it we can become so rigid? I our early years, everything single thing we learn comes to us via a process of desire and discovery, then experimentation and mastery. There was no shame when we didn’t roll over the first time, or successfully take five steps without falling.
Nor was there any judgment! Only encouragement and cheers at our wanting to try, and a confidence that we would eventually accomplish that which we were endeavouring to achieve.
Somewhere along the line, we trading in our spirit of adventure and self confidence, selling out to the more generally accepted notion that we ‘can’t’. The blissful condition of being judgement free dissipated and in its place a need to hide and not venture out where we’ve not gone before-coz, what if we fail?
This week, I’d like to look at the way Change comes into my life, and how I determined how I would have it play out.
Incremental Steps
Change can strike in many ways. A slow progressive evolving, a dramatic shift in circumstances, an opportunity that grows out of synchronistic meeting or even a line by line action plan.
When considering ‘incremental’ change, I want to see steady and consistent growth without extremes or obsession. A type of approach to life, if you will, that will always hold me in good stead. I love balance and harmony in all areas of my life, with rich and recognisable growth, but free of stress or pressure...just like when I was little.
I used to beg God for three times the intensity, to have a learning process over with three times as fast, and I think I had that for a long time! Lol but there are certain other necessary characteristics that develop over time THROUGH consistent application that takes longer to perfect. This is the one place I really love TIME. As long as any fear is being dealt with in a healthy way, simply spending TIME doing something will develop confidence and familiarity.
In giving yourself goals of change think of this: One step forward is all you need to take. Just ONE. Do this regularly, this small amount every day and change will eventuate.
As an example, think of a child’s growing feet. I have five kids and I know when I shopped for ten pairs of shoes at the outset of each new school year, I looked for a shoe that fit well enough for my child to walk comfortably, but yet, have room to grow. Every mother knows this!
When you want to step into BIGGER BOOTS, this is what you do.
A lot of our lives can, and is, lived like this. This is a very easy approach to change, and if we practice life this way, the sizes between shoes can get bigger, and we will get bolder and more confident to tackle larger ‘risks’.
When a person stops dealing with life’s little changes this way...often a “Quantum Shift” will come and shake life TO THE CORE.
This may feel uninvited and most certainly unwanted, but believe me, there is a part of you that wants nothing more than to blossom into fullness. The spiritual essence is the part of you that will subject the ‘ego’ to what’s necessary to satisfy this.
Sadly, people can go their entire lives, never recognising these opportunities, and die, having only tasted their true passions in secret, unfulfilled yearning.
What single thing would you like to begin to incrementally change in your life? How will you/your life look with that change fully established?
Quantum Shifts
If you’re familiar with any of my personal history, you may know that I had some very severe environmental shifts that scattered family members and geographically brought big change to me as well.
On the one hand this change was exactly what I wanted, but on the other, it brought a heavy toll to my heart, as it meant not being with many of the people I loved most dearly. Even though this brought some difficult situations, like many years of nightmares, and heart ache, there were many aspects of my new life that I could easily enjoy.
As children, we tend to do this much more readily-lose ourselves in the moment. We find and focus on those things that make us feel good. This was an instinct in me from as far back as I can remember, and I’ve never let it go. Feeling good has always been the better option for me and I learnt through MANY situations how to do that, from the INSIDE OUT.
This traumatic turn of events was the deliverance I wanted from some unpleasant elements of my young life, and I can see how it was the result of my own desire and creation. Looking back now, the hardest part I see in it, was the fact that I was able to create new levels of freedom , but couldn’t make anyone else want them. And for many decades, I accepted the guilt some family members put on me for finding peace when they remained in turmoil.
Often, I’ve been accused of NOT CARING because I have chosen to move forward with change instead of resisting it. This is hard to take from people you love-but move forward anyway, coz you staying miserable won’t help anyone.
This is an important part of your growth and change: You cannot create in someone else’s experience
The change that you may view as powerfully and positively potent for another could spell total disaster-all because of the way they view change.
I have seen myself generate circumstances in my life that ‘force’ me to address things I was having trouble making a decision to deal with. Whilst others felt bad for me, I knew I was getting the compelling I needed to commit myself to the change I wanted. How could I complain?
This is principle behind hiring a coach too, giving yourself an accountability partner to get you past where you keep getting stuck. Who knows, lol, maybe hiring a coach will even avert more harsh alternatives!  That has certainly been my thinking when hiring the service of a book keeper/virtual assistant to walk me through things I needed to know to get myself organised ( for bigger business shoes!), and also a business advisor to help me see the practical logistics that my right brain orientation isn’t ‘all up’ with, since I’m new to business on that level.
Without them, I wouldn’t even feel ready to BEGIN to receive any substantial business...my shoes weren’t big enough!
I do confess though, I wear lots of different ‘hats’ as well as ‘shoes’...and every hat requires another learning curve-A seemingly never ending, ongoing, learning curve. I haven’t had a chance to wear ANY of my shoes out because my desire to be living my dream life is taking me through some quantum growth spurts!
It can be exhausting to feel such stretching and growing all the time, but it’s also exhilarating and you sure know you’re alive, and best of all—you get to LIVE YOUR DREAMS, one intentional Designer moment at a time. :-)
Think about the area you’d like some change in, how can you give yourself some ’structure’ to encourage you along the path. Perhaps join a spiritual network, like http://jasonsnetwork.com or http://boundlessliving.ning.com -you’ll find me on both. Or like a friend of mine on Facebook, who gave herself a challenge and set up her own daily accountability blog. There’s LOTS of ways to do this-countless, in fact. Which will you choose??
By far...the best way to tackle change is make it a game!
Making it FUN
When I get an unexpected twist, I have several possible responses. How/why did I create this?
If I don’t feel any sort of negative affirmation like “I KNEW this would happen!”, but rather feel , aligned, I look at it as being the result of my “This, or something better clause”. That is to say, when I ask the Universe for something I think I want, I add the disclaimer of “this or something even better”, because I readily concede the Intelligence in All–That-Is, knows WAY better than I, how to satisfy my desire.
So, if I put ‘disruption’ under that disclaimer label, I cannot help but get excited! I’m not kidding! Or exaggerating. I’ve learnt to love and embrace change so much, that ‘ending’ actually means “new beginning’ to me, and ‘death’ means ‘transformed’, unexpected change, means ‘adventure’!
I immediately start thinking of how I’ll tell it as a story, or record it in a little Artbook, perhaps even a song. I bring in an element of Creative fun that instantly shifts my focus and opens the door to FUN! I might imagine myself doing an interview (common practice since I was very young! Lol)
Change is so much more appealing when it’s FUN!
Where can you, right now, begin to make some element of change that could be a fun outlet for you, connected with the area in which you want to evolve? (I’m good at ideas and for helping you to generate your own)

More About Change.
The previous content has been about positive aspects of change and response to it. There is the element of dealing with the ‘can of worms’ that are unleashed that must be sorted one way or another. Mostly, we want them out of the way, so we can stay aligned to our desired outcome, which we’re not even always sure of in times of deep transition.
I know I spent three years in limbo when my husband and I separated, not really able to cope with the notion of divorce, OR staying married. He and I progressed slowly through degrees of separation, incremental change, that seemed the better way for all five kids too. When I dealt with the reasons why (mostly the shame of feeling like a failure and being judged). But I know others who simply Cut it off and moved on...they went for the ‘intense’ version! Lol the underlying issues still need addressing though and we each decide which brand of “is-shoes” we choose to grow into and through.
There’s so much more to cover with change, such as how we deal with the strong reactions that can even debilitate us in the face of change, immobilizing our progress through fear. Other issues can arise from our habitual responses to triggers, and the problem becomes how can avert that pattern and bring the change I want, and allow it to flow?
My life afforded me the opportunity to become something of a ‘shapeshifter’. As a result, I love to help people transition change in their own lives. If you think I can help you, simply contact me on lisa@lisashahescape.com and visit http://lisashahescape.com to see how others have been assisted.

Listen into next week's show http://blogtalkradio.com/lisa-shah as Suzie Cheel , the "abundance Queen" and I discuss how we can embrace the emotions of change and Suzie's book "Emergings" on the topic.

Be Blessed! 

MY DIY Designer Flight in a RED Balloon

I took A lot of photos and captured a fair bit of footage, and with things being the way they have this week, I enlisted the services of my expert 17(and a half!!)yr old Matt, to do the editing of this and as he has his own UTUBE Channel and has been playing with this stuff since he was, like 10-it's really cool.

The opening panorama was taken on my digital in 7 separate images, and he has much cooler editing suites to do groovy slide shows etc.

In fulfilling this mini adventure, I feel I have crossed over into a new phase of my life-a long awaited phase. And there's something very fulfilling about the documenting of it, as it ritualizes it as a milestone, and recognises it for the achievement that it is.

Not only that, but as far as "maximizing and leveraging BUBBLES" goes, documentation adds mileage even unto the point of LEGACY.

I think my chronic journaling has been about this: so that one day , all the 'unseen' things can be known and others may benefit from them. Consider such things as the "Diary of Anne Frank".

Share your joys and any heartaches. Let people live through you too, especially the family that come after, and who would so loved to have met you personally. Let the essence of who you are shine in frequent expressions, if not in journals, then in direct gestures toward people. Leave tangible evidence of your life through enriching others'.

I hope my adventures somehow inspire others to find the depth of courage that it takes to live in increasing levels of freedom. Every part of your authentic nature longs for this. Be blessed!

...and thanks Matt! :-)
