Wake Up To Your Dreams!

Your [Conscious and Unconscious] Dreams and the Law of Attraction

I have been fascinated by my sleep time and dreams for as long as I can remember. They have always been a very significant part of my consciousness. In fact, sometimes, the line between waking and sleeping has been so blurred I almost feel the sense of walking in a watery space between these states. And the insights such a state has brought have been profound.

Carl Jung had a lot to say about dreams:
The dream is the small hidden door in the deepest and most intimate sanctum of the soul, which opens to that primeval cosmic night that was soul long before there was conscious ego and will be soul far beyond what a conscious ego could ever reach.
CARL JUNG, The Meaning of Psychology for Modern Man

The general function of dreams is to try to restore our psychological balance by producing dream material that re-establishes, in a subtle way, the total psychic equilibrium.

Jung understood the content of our dreams as being deeply connected to the universal language of Myth. For every variation of symbolic meaning found from culture to culture and throughout history, there are multitudes more common motifs, themes and characters. Like laughter and tears, joy and horror, the human race shares a collective grasp across the board of life experience.

Storytelling,  Ritual and The Arts-the  Offspring of Dreams

From this basis, it only makes sense that storytelling became the earliest and singularly strongest mode for imparting understanding. Oral traditions were  theatre’s infancy of story-telling and ritual and these practises, though not fully appreciated by the average modern westerner, are still phenomenally active in all societies and woven most deeply into every aspect of our consciousness-especially our sub conscious, impacting us in a far more penetrating way than commonly aware.

All the Arts are so interconnected with this world, that to incorporate a more active engagement with creativity through the Arts will also increase one’s awareness and understanding of it. I know they have been a massive part of my developing ability to communicate effectively this way. I don’t sing, play, draw and speak my messages just to make it more entertaining, I am effectively widening my language net to meet everyone on some deeper level of connection. The images I draw are from the universal mind of collective consciousness, mixed with my historic and cultural influences. The music I play, the jargon, the lyrics, they are all TOOLS designed to bring people back into this place of CONSCIOUS CONNECTION.

Law Of Attraction-Servant to our Dreams

This language is rich in meaning and value for the health of our personal  development and individual fulfilment and holds the key to the great unfolding of human evolution. It is a gift. A remnant connection to the part of us that is ONE with All That Is, as primal as procreating and giving birth, and as such has access to all the answers we could ever need to live the fullest lives of our waking dreams, well beyond our logical minds ability to grapple with.

The whole of creation is being formed and steered  through this shadowy world of metaphor and can be interpreted via these principles.  Better yet, the individual life can be actively shaped by understanding how to perceive, interpret and apply this knowledge. This is where dreams and their meaning offer enormous potential for manifesting our highest hopes and bringing our greatest desires to fruition. They reveal where our hearts lie.
“As a man think in his heart, so is he”  Pr 23:7
“Above all else, guard your heart-for out of it flow the issues of life. Pr 4:23

Ongoing, Unfolding Revelation

What I present here is merely the “tippy top” of the tip of the ice berg of how your sleeping dreams and the personal symbolism they can reveal to you can empower you to leave fear far behind as you walk in a greater freedom equipped with the knowing that you are always connected to all you need through the Creator that lives and breathes in you.  Through your growing awareness, your discernment of what the core issues are and even how to address them will astound you.

Actually, the analogy of the ice berg is a perfect representation of the human psyche’s consciousness. To access the other 90% of our abilities that we are purported as not using can come via these concepts.

And here is the best bit!!! You don’t have to be academic. You don’t have to be especially smart. You don’t need any special talents, or any great skills beyond your capacity to develop. Everybody dreams.
This information is for EVERYONE. It can be understood by children and progressively mastered by adults.
There are formal and academic versions, but I want to make it so much more integrated to daily life, because this is the arena in which it belongs-with the regular person.

In Pursuit Of A Dream

In Pursuit of a Dream “I have a dream!” I am sure you all know who said that. (Martin Luther King Jnr) Martin Luther King Jnr. Martin Luther King Jnr.
Retrieved 23/1//2013 http://www.biography.com/people/martin-luther-king-jr-9365086 I want to talk about dreams. When I say dreams here, I refer to something that is so intricately intertwined and laced through your being that at rare moments of clarity, you can feel all of your life essence caught up in its glory. You may still not how to live it, or even be totally clear on details, but you feel the destiny of it deep in your gut. Something is calling you to give your all. You wish you really did know what it was, so you could get started! Or maybe you feel certain you know and are ready, but no one believes you-at 5. Or even if they do, they assume you still have to grow up first. A fire starts to burn in your belly. When you feel such a fire, you have found the pathway to your purpose and the progressive unveiling of your dream. Dreams Are A Great Gift And Privilege It’s a fantastic feeling to have a ‘fire in your belly’. It brings meaning to life, purpose to your existence, a reason to breathe. There is a very poor outlook held by the masses (though a lesser percentage than ever before in history, I’d wager), that only the rare few can have their dreams fulfilled. Consequently, only the rare few have and they have been so driven by their purpose that they often change the world in which they live and leave a legacy that spans centuries, continuing, even today, to enrich lives. There is another largely held view, I’ve observed today (more than historically), that many think that people inherit the fulfilment of their dreams by sheer luck or happenchance. Perhaps, you are one of the lucky ones that Fate selected to change their stars. In spite of all the leaders and dream fulfillers telling us over and over again that we can all live our dreams and it’s never too late to do so, the vast multitudes of humanity go to the grave with their song unsung and their vision yet in their bellies as an unborn child. My dream (as far as others is concerned) is to use my life to propose something to alter this statistic. My personal dream is to be so consciously connected with God, that I embody the liberating truths I believe about His love and demonstrate them with intention, so that others can see and be inspired to believe for themselves. I want to demonstrate a way to live on this planet that reflects God’s intention for us, as divine co-creators and offspring. My dream is for FREEDOM. Beautiful Burleigh Sky Beautiful Burleigh Sky Freedom from fear-and every kind of parasitical, maligned thing that rides its back into my heart and life. This is my dream. To know myself whole and complete in God, safe from harm, yet wide open to give and receive Love to the max. I want to be totally confident in my awareness of universal support to fulfil my purpose. Anyone can have their dreams fulfilled but be warned...the rewards don’t go to the luke-warm or fainthearted. They are for the FREE! And even though freedom as a state is a birthright to every human being, it seems to require some deep, ongoing and challenging process that puts that freedom at a high price-the greatest being that of COURAGE to believe, and along with it, the manifestation of our most sacred dreams. The Attributes of a Dream In the early stages of one’s dream, I believe passion is the greatest indicator. An insatiable appetite and inexplicable pleasure comes from participating in some kind of activity or practise. It may or may not come with a more expansive vision, but it doesn’t matter. As you let the passion and pleasure pull you along, you will find yourself brought through several cycles of challenge and accomplishment. Stay with this path and the challenges will get more demanding-as will the necessary disciplines, focus and application. Passion and pleasure is what will keep you there. Seasons o f life may add new facets and interests, and all you do, when pursuing your passions will contribute to that final Life Purpose. Keeping something in your life, about which you are passionate, will keep you on your path with a forward moving energy. When people resign their dreams and talents to the season of Retirement in later life, they could well have closed off their avenues to success and personal growth in a way that would have them open mouthed in disbelief. It all becomes useable stuff for the dream, once you take it up...but it never needed to be cast aside. And NEVER should have been-in my opinion! Add to that, the fact that most lose faith in being able to fulfil them by this stage. A sad, but accepted illusion. Owning Your Dream Passions come early in life because if we follow them and stay true to them, they will take us down a road that will guide us to face every personal fear and every internal demon as well as master all necessary disciplines and character traits, compelled by ever increasing love, and widening appreciation of this ‘thing’ that we feel compelled to do. The idea being that we are so enamoured and enraptured that the challenges posed are tackled with the gusto of a champion. And when that has been depleted, the sheer grit of someone who has come too far, invested too much, fallen too many times and risen again, to quit now! When the Dream Owns You Charlotte's Portal Lisa Shah Passion for a purpose and dream is like a holy fire that will Purify you, and act as an access portal to the greater human being that resides within. I believe that this is the point where the dream comes to own you. It almost feels like your life has been taken over by something so much bigger and grander than you. Even if you want to let it go and give up, it doesn’t appear that you are able to any more. It is carrying you. Your life has become one with the fruition of this intention. Nothing else seems to matter because suddenly, you can see that all you value and hold dear in this life is represented in that dream somehow. And there is no ‘not doing it’ option anymore. Will Smith, the actor, is quoted as saying “Know what you believe And be willing to die for it” Some might think these heavy words, but I think that’s because so many spend so much of their life essences engaged in things that have little or no value on this scale. When a life is dream led, it is both compelled and constrained by the demands of that dream. There is no true dream fulfilment without the courage to live and die for it. No matter how it looks to those around you, each heart alone knows the terrors it faced, the bravery it displayed and the sweetness of the victories won over one’s own darkness and doubt. What’s Your Dream? If you don’t think you know, I may be able to help you... But, do you really want to know? Are you ready to lose your ‘little life’ to your inner greatness?

Live Like You Mean IT!

just SO love how we are guided from the Inside out!!

The Passion Coach.

Next week, on my radio show, I have a guest called Katey Shaw. Katey did coaching sessions with me, after which she dubbed me the Passion Coach, which I REALLY like! :-)
She did this because she felt that I helped her through a refining process of defining what she wanted to a much greater place of clarity.

The reason I mentioned this is because last night when I attended the networking event, it was hosted by the "Surf Museum". Walking through this space of boards, press releases, photos and smiling faces had an instant and profound impact upon me impressing deeply upon me a clarity of purpose. It's not like it's anything new, but to have these moments of weighty significance when you are reminded what really matters to you are priceless.

Something about the raw passion of the people who had surfed those boards infiltrated my soul. The old boards murmured to me of days gone by-of laughter, sun, personal challenge, edgy lifestyles and travel...living the dream...I saw 'flashbacks' and felt the purity of passion based adrenalin rushes and the exhilaration of truly LIVING LIFE--for the sheer joy of it!

I want to reunite people with this immense sense of connection and oneness...through their passions. We really DO touch God through the intense pleasure we know when we are living passionately. They, our passionate desires, are our key to ALL we could ever want to know, have or experience. My heart ached with longing not only to sing my own song, but to see others release their own. To not die with their song unsung and their vision still in their bellies like a still born child. I felt a sense of urgency to make this my priority.

THIS IS MY PASSION
And I know that I'll do it through selling out to my own.
My desire to sing and play my way around the globe will open the way to others to follow their dreams whatever they are.

Pass It On

As soon as I emerged into the main room from the museum two men began speaking to me and all I could talk about was living passionately and how they were , or could be, doing that. Something had shifted in that space/time.BIG TIME. Back in church days, we'd say something like "a new mantle" or a "fresh anointing" had fallen upon me. However, you want to say it, that is what happened.

I went home and immediately captured and posted a video on Facebook. This week's content "Live Like You Mean it!"
I had a message form someone who watched and was emotionally touched. They shared their dream and how they felt they'd been skirting around it and how that video spoke directly to them.

I FEEL THE POTENCY OF PASSION IN THIS WAVE-and I'm riding it!

Studies in Conscious Creation Vol III

Studies In Conscious Creation Vol 3-Keeping Your Focus

This week I thought it might be good to look at the kinds of things that enter our lives in any ordinary day and how to maintain an energy focus that will continue to work to move us toward our desires, and the fruition of the same toward us.

This IS a two way street. A host of paradoxical perspectives are active here, and yet all in perfect harmony with each other-no contradictions.

What To Do With An Ordinary Day.

Now, when I say an ‘ordinary’ day, I am referring specifically to a day that has no specific extremes or intense emotions. Trust me, these are as needed as the others. A lot of the time these days don’t have any intense need for anything either. They just are. They are like the calm in the midst of the storm (not necessarily a bad storm). They are a lull, for breathing more deeply and slowly and not really much else. They are a balancing of energy, so that you don’t go “over the top” with extremes.

They are good days.

As I said, in my video, they are good days for me to be more inclined to “change gears” go left brain, and get some other kinds of work done, that I am usually way too excited to bother with. Site maintenance, or book keeping are good examples. They are “ordering” days for me. Some would say “practical”, but I think all my days are productive and practical! J

When you’ve been flying with intensity, this can feel like a “come down”, and therein lies the danger. In the same way, that some people view rainy days as “bad” weather, these days can be unappreciated for the value they bring.

The important thing to remember, is that feeling good is ALL that matters. If that isn’t exactly “over the moon/on fire”, that’s fine. As long as it isn’t “down in the dumps/nothing is happening”. Do some of the other things you normally put off. Be productive in “practical” ways. Watch cool movies. Relax with a friend. Pamper yourself. Enjoy the NOW.

In this way, all that has already been set in motion by your desires will continue to work toward their fruition. If you shift your mood into a lower vibration, you will send out different information, and begin attracting different outcomes.

Remember your desires whilst attending the day’s requirements. Depending on where you are with your Intentional Creativity, you may feel you have more of these days than the exciting kind, but momentum will grow. AND...what you are wanting to see may be closer than you think! ;-)

When Opportunities Come.

This is another important time to keep your focus-REALLY important.

As I put my focus on my desired end result, opportunities that can bring it to fruition begin to emerge upon my path. Each one will somehow reflect something of what I’ve been wanting. All of them will include elements from every facet of my being in a mixed array of arrangements. As the Universe responds to my vibration, I will be presented with offers I can choose to accept or decline, explore or ignore. Just because they come doesn’t mean I HAVE to follow them, OR that they are exactly what I want. What they will do however, is reveal to me how completely I am sustaining the desired “state of being”. That is, how thoroughly I believe I HAVE what I desire.

In this scenario, as with all, align yourself afresh with what you want. From that place, does this path feel firm and good...or more a “maybe this could work” type deal? TAKE ONLY THE WAYS THAT ARE FIRM. Being firm doesn’t mean you can clearly see the road straight out before you. It simply means you feel certain of the next step. Living this way, that’s the only step you need to be sure off.

Should you face a fork in the road, feel uncertain, yet know you must make a choice now, then whatever choice you make , don’t second guess it! Be committed. It is your whole heartedness that will make either choice RIGHT for you, and work around to the desired outcome anyway. Universal reality is fluid and always changing. You can’t ‘miss out’. You can be sure you will get whatever the lesson is contained in it, and the lesson is there, to steer you into your dreams.

Opportunities to become the person who can create AND sustain that dream will come. They will lead you into it. They are not barriers to it, but gateways!

Opportunities in a Different Direction

This can be tricky. For example, I feel I must get to Nice, France. That is the desired outcome for me. To be honest, I don’t even think it’s necessarily because something amazing is going to happen there. I think it’s because in becoming the person who gets there, I will have accomplished what I need within myself to live the life I desire from that point on. I believe it will mark some kind of milestone in this way.

I have become totally focussed on that as being the gateway into another world for me. However, the path way to Nice may not look as direct, because the way Universal Energy orchestrates events is supremely unexpected, unforeseeable and exquisitely “random”.

Going With the Flow

As happenings unfold, and circumstances evolve, stay intuitively aligned to your predominant personal desire. If you are already in a relationship, this will have a bearing. However, personally, even though a life partnership is a strong desire, I believe it’s better to hone in on that which is uniquely you-YOUR specific part along the time line. You will miss NOTHING of all you desire in following this, but in relinquishing this for ANYthing else, even on an motivational level, will distort the outcome as well. As those other things enter the stage of your reality, they will be aligned to all that is you, enhancing and enriching, rather than supplanting.

When an opportunity presents, surrendering it to the “state of being” for your desires, will give you a sense of effortless flow, and a kind of inner ‘glitch’. Follow the flow. J Along this path are whatever lessons and experiences required to lead you to what you are wanting, whether you immediately understand how, or not. Embrace what comes with an attitude of readiness to grow and a hunger to learn and become the person who can sustain your dream. Be thankful.

Even when occurrences arise that stir emotions and responses that don’t feel incredibly good, peace is still discernible on this path and it is that firmness that allows one to undergo the discomfort of outgrowing old paradigms and fears. It is the patience that will draw you into the wisdom and insight to equip you further. Surrender, and trust the process.

Happy Creative New Year

Hello all you groovers and groovettes!

Welcome, welcome, welcome to 2010!!

I am VERY happy to be here, and to be living my life and enjoying all the wonderful experiences that make up each moment.
And yeah...I actually mean that! :-)

LET'S GET PERSONAL

So, what I thought I'd do is share a little about CTT-Creative Thinking Technology. I never want to be starchy and formal-just wouldn't be me. Creative and colourful are more my way, and dangerously transparent. I believe in integrity and excellence, but this blog will likely be quite personal in content at times, so be warned.

In the same way, that I am my favourite guinea pig, and I test all my theories out on myself, so I also use a lot of illustration from my own life. This is what gives me authentic power to speak about the content I share. I live it! And where I've not perfected the practice of it, I will be always committed to doing that.

I'll make mistakes, like everyone does, but I will learn from them, and I'll make an example of myself that way too. So...please, be gracious. :-)

CREATIVITY VERSUS ARTISTIC

As the video states, creativity and artistic are not the same, although these two terms are commonly used almost interchangeably. Most dictionaries agree that for something to be creative it should be "novel and of value in meeting a situational need". I can think of lots of artistic things that are not 'novel' in the sense of innovative, nor considered all that valuable.

In fact, the value of an artwork is VERY subjective. Value in anything for that matter is all about perception-but I'm getting ahead of myself!

I LOVE the Arts, practice in several different fields of the Arts, and even love blurring the boundaries between in very clever ways ( a conceptual artist), but it is true that a painting can be done mechanically, with little to no creativity, just like a piano recital can be dry and unmoving.

It is the same of any discipline. Science, mathematics, literature, music, dance...all of them. The discipline is for helping us to understand the principals of the subject, master the tools needed, and learn to wield all with skill, but having done that, it's time to EXPLORE EXPRESSION. We learn our 'ABCs', in hope that we will learn to communicate and comprehend through words-express our ideas, and enjoy being stimulated by the thoughts and ideas of others.

My point: any subject can be dull and boring, and any subject can be fascinating and adventurous! A creative outlook will turn everything into an epic journey of joyful discovery.

AWAKEN, AROUSE AND ANIMATE

NOTHING LIGHTS OUR FIRE LIKE FASCINATION.It awakens us.
Desire ignites us with a wondrous sense of invigorating energy. We are aroused. We feel ALIVE.
Creativity uses ideas to awaken passion, and passion is our life blood, spurring us on to be animated and take action toward our dreams.

THE NECESSITY OF CREATIVITY

When creative exploration and expression are stilted or squelched, so much of the psyche gets buried. Sometimes, never to productively surface again in that life. This breaks my heart.

We so NEED our dreams. We need to know we can attain them, or at least be free to pursue them. They are our freedom.

A person on fire with the passion of their desire for authentic freedom is irresistably beautiful and attractive. Such healthy pursuits will draw out our best from core, stretch us in every way, and expand us into who we truly are...powerful and heroic co-creators.

The practice of creativity keeps our hearts and minds open to these possibilities, gives us courage in the face of fear, and will even show us how to be intentional Master Designers of our lives.

Come, journey with me awhile, and I'll remind you of your greatness, and show you how to reconnect with it on purpose. Creative Thinking Technology ( CTT) is for those who want to TRULY live abundantly.
